I believe pressed some key mid processing and the right sidebar containing all processing modules disappeared in the darkroom view. Just can’t figure out how to get it back. That little expand arrow isn’t there on the right side. Clues?
There’s a shortcut Shift-Ctrl-r that hides/displays the right sidebar. But even with that hiding the right sidebar, I still have the small triangle at the right edge.
I have the darktable window maximised, so I’m sure no part of my window is hidden.
Thank YOU. Have no such arrow in the 5.4.0 AppImage.
Ctrl+b
remember the H key is your friend to find out how to undo the key presses…it will list all the shortcuts for you…
You can also try Tab, which toggles all panels at once.
Did not work.
Ah, so that’s where that information is “hidden” (in plain sight…)
I agree that it seems OPs question seems like not much effort was made to search for a solution himself but your snarky answer also provides no extra value to this thread.
That wasn’t meant to be snarky, more self-deprecating in that I did search the docs to find it (and overlooked it…): note the quotes around hidden and the ‘in plain sight’)
You might have noticed that I started with providing a way to get the sidebar back…
But ok, I’ll stop posting here (at least for a while)
Alright, I have to admit I overlooked your first well-meaning comment. Communication in textform is often flawed, underlined by the fact that I misread your comment as being snarky while you were talking about your own experience. Take my apology for being harsh.
It really reads like that, though, when I first read your reply my first reaction was exactly the same as @mino’s, and actually I was going to write almost exactly the same.
I think this only shows it is not that easy to find information, even when you are seriously looking for it in multiple ways. Often it boils down to accidentially knowing the exact right search term.
@rvietor please do not leave us - even for a second…
