Multiple white balance

I’m looking to use masks to have two levels of white balance with a cooler foreground and a warmer background. I know that I can have multiple colour calibration modules with masks to do this. However, if I use both and set both to CAT16 using CCT to control the temperature, I get a big red warning saying double CAT applied. Is there a recommended way of achieving what I’m looking for without using to CATs?

Normally (i.e. when not using masks) having the CAT applied twice would be an error, hence the warning. But in your case, you can ignore the warning since you know why you apply the module twice. It’s just too complicated for the dumb computer to figure that out ;).

ah… thanks… makes sense

and you can turn off the warning via preferences, processing, show warning message.

Remember to turn the warning back on after you work on it. It may save you time in the future.
