My New Calendar Template (Engine) 🚀

That’s what i do as well, besides using inkscape (i used to use scribus before inkscape got multi-page support). I don’t trust their PDF import, and i also feel that i have little control over the entire color workflow to make sure the PDF renders exactly like i want it to, therefore i am uploading high quality jpeg files in the exact required resolution and pull them item by item as background image onto the pages, switching off the automatic enhancement feature manually for every image. Not the best workflow i could imaging, but it works.

Thanks for the hint; and for posterity: Even at 100% JPG Quality scribus will create some visible JPEG artifacts around red letters which will actually be visible when the calendar is printed - Note for next year: Export as BMP!

Wow, I love this calendar engine! Thank you so much for writing this.

It is the first of January, and I need a new calendarium. After searching the internet for a while for a suitable one, I remembered there was this topic. And I wanted to play with typst for a while anyway.

Here’s my version, with holidays and vacations:

Nice, I like your highlighting of holidays. This thing is getting better and better :).

@chris I completely forgot about it, did you create a repo already?
