Natron Project Settings lost

Hi, I’m a new (happy) natron user
Very good job Natron developpers !!!
I used to work with autodesk composite and previously (last century) combustion.

I work on several projects (several footages to edit) all in UHD.
Very often I find my Project Settings “output format” in HD. I change to UHD and save the project but it turn back to HD…
Any idea ? Bug or my wrong doing ?
Thanks !
Please excuse my english

PS : very often i “clear all the pannel in the property bin pane” with the x button. Is that ok ?

Hi I still have the same problem one year later
Anyone ?

Seems like a bug with the combobox, as the project is still UHD (see viewer).

Replicate:

  1. Open Natron, select UHD in empty project
  2. Save project and quit
  3. Open Natron and project.

The project is UHD but the project settings (output format) combobox shows HD.

Thanks for your answer !
So in other words, the “Project Settings” are still good,
just their display in Properties / ProjectSettings not right.
Is that what you mean ?
(please excuse my english)

It just seems like the combobox is wrong, I will check the code.

Having the same issue as mentioned above.

Stored the project as 1920x1200, 30fps

But every time when I open it, it is set back to 1920x1080.

Opened an issue on github: Project Settings Not stored · Issue #439 · NatronGitHub/Natron · GitHub

Would be amazing to get it fixed.

@rodlie:
Just compiled your: SetDefaultProjectFormat branch and tested it.
Its still the same saving issue, when I open one of my projects, the projects settings are always:

1920 x 1080
Frame range: 1 25
Frame Rate: 25

But I saved (and re-saved with new build) projects with:
1920 x 1200
Frame range: 1 1000
Frame Rate: 30

(BTW. also tested with running as sudo, but same behaviour)

Ok, did the patch from splidje work?

I could not build splidje version (tried 3 times), always got a build error:

Thanks for testing, I will look into this a bit more.

I’m currently on Windows and can’t test Natron at the moment.
