Raw files are files just like any other files. You can upload them to and download them from any Linux distribution you have installed so long as there is storage space on the device. I don’t know, but would guess, you can probably do that with any other OS too.
In order to do anything with them you will also need some software which can read or manipulate raw files.
The same applies to your old Galaxy tablet, unless you had some sort of filtering software on there to prevent you doing so.
