New open source siril compatible capture tool

Hi all,

I just released the first usable version of a gpl3 capture tool that I’m excited to be building and sharing.

There’s a lot to do but in this initial release it is able to run on a battery powered raspberry pi 4b and control zwo/touptek astrocameras. Also zwo efws.

My goal is to use this on a super portable imx715/imx585 travel rig that runs entirely on batteries. I figured better skies was going to be more fun and deliver better results than getting increasingly larger telescopes for my back yard.

Anyway, here it is, it’s a lot of work to get setup at this point because of the hardware but who knows what it can turn into.

This may be of interest to the siril community, although luddcam is still far from the point where I’d suggest anybody actually uses it: I recently added polar alignment and went down a huge rabbit hole of the various things that have to be taken into account: https://medium.com/@fommil/the-mathematics-of-polar-alignment-78c143609db7

Oh, and it runs on an ePaper display! Which I believe is a first for any capture tool.
