New to astrophotography! Star alignment/register in Siril doesnt work.

As mentioned in the title, Im very new to this all and have basically no experience, so I dont rly no what Im doing aswell. I have seen some videos of ppl getting raw data from Hubble or the JWST and then processing it themselfs.
I wanted to try it myself, got some data and tryed following the tutorials but every time I get stuck at the registration/star alignment step. In the tutorials it just works for the ppl but for me it tells me that it was unable to align/register the files. I didnt change any settings, despite later changing the algorithms to see if that would solve it. I have tried it with different data sets aswell, same issue. I tried out all the different algorithms but same problem. No matter what I do or try, I always get the message: Cannot perform star matching: try #3. Image (images number) skipped.
So far I havent been able to even register/align 2 images from the same set.

Any help to fix/sove this would be really appreciated.

Hello, you may look in images which stars are detected and adjust the detection settings: Siril - FAQ
The unusual profile of the stars in those images is probably the cause, try increasing the convergence, then relaxing the detection if it’s not enough.

Hey, thank you sooooo much for the help!
After playing around with the Star Detection settings and especially after ticking the “Relax PSF checks” box, I was able to align the images properly
