Hi,
When i “copy&import” the raw files from my new (secondhand) Sony A7RM3, there’s no initial star rating anymore. With my Panasonic G7 and G9, I always get a 1 star rating. I’m very much used to having that one star for my workflow.
In the ‘preference’, i can’t seem to find an option for this automated star rating. And the manual seems to suggest that it should be attributed automatically.
Can’t seem to find anything on the forum. Help wanted.

some cameras reports a zero rating by default. In this case darktable doesn’t overwrite this. You can override this in the import presets (not the global presets) simply let darktable ignore the out of camera rating
Great, works like a chime. Never noticed there were ‘parameter’ options in the ‘Import’ module.
