The problem with that idea is that lately the “users” mailing list is much less frequented by users and developers alike compared with the forum. So, even if this is not the “official” place on paper, currently most of the user-facing interaction around darktable happens here.
Yup, we would be happy to be the official forum if the project wants to designate it as such, but last time it was discussed, they didn’t want that.
Decent privacy as well I think??
