Panasonic S1R and S1 full-frame raw .RW2 sample files

Some are available at Panasonic S1R Review - Samples . Currently, RT 5.5 just shows a noisy pink image.

The same with Adobe.

Just an input , Iā€™m a great supporter of ā€œUniversal RAW formatā€ - meaning every RAW editor would support a new camera from day 1.
Photography Life have an article about that.

As per usual, weā€™d love a set at https://raw.pixls.us if there are no sample already.

Please do not upload a set that you havenā€™t personally shot yourself.

If there would be an ā€˜universal raw formatā€™, it should meet this requirements:

  1. lossless compressed
  2. lossless compressed in a way that the decompression can use all cores of the decompressing machine. Currently thatā€™s not the case for some formats (Nikon NEF decoders only use one core, advanced Canon CR2 decoders can use somehow between one and two cores, though still slower than Nikon NEF dedoders using only one core), while for example Sony arw deoder and Fuji lossless ompressed decoder in RT can use all cores.

I have already downloaded test images there:

Like @paperdigits has already stated in

it is super great to have full sample set for every camera to be on RPU.

I donā€™t know what is full sample set, but uploaded 3 images two days ago.

It means that it is best for all possible raw file types and configurations per camera, a full set, to be uploaded together by one person, not separately by different people. That way, we get a consistent grouping for examination. The instructions should be on the site. Follow them the best you can.

RT dev now supports decoding of Panasonic DC-S1 and DC-S1R files in standard and highres mode.
