It would be nice if you could do a PCC on a sequence. What I do now is make a PCC on the reference frame and then Export (normalize). The normalization makes all the images look like the reference frame. The result looks good but would be easier if that option was available in the PCC window.
It is always possible to use commands on sequences, even if they are not programmed to do so.
You have an example here, using bash or python, or whatever you want: Siril - Advanced Siril scripting with bash or DOS
Can’t really do this kind of stuff. It would be easy if I could just place a checkmark in the PCC window.
Why you’re couldn’t?
This is very easy to do.
Wow, this is exactly the question I’ve been wrestling with. I want to apply the same PCC to a whole sequence. I’m not averse to scripting – I’ve been using Python to do some star removal. What I would really like to do is apply the same color calibration (the K’s and B’s) to all subs in a sequence. Does anyone know how these B’s and K’s are used?
Well, I did some searching on the site. So it sounds like what I want to do is do my color calibration on an image in the sequence, save it, then export the sequence to a new sequence and check the “Normalize Images” button. Does that sound right to people?
yes, that is the method explained in the comet processing tutorial Siril - Working with Comets
Don’t forget to assign the reference frame to the one you did a color calibration on. Just open the frame list under the Sequence tab and place a checkmark on the reference frame.
