Photographic digital art

What are y’all’s thoughts on purely digital image art (e.g. Jared Pike’s Dream Pools) and heavily edited photography (e.g. Aristotle Roufanis’ Alone Together series)?

I’m mentioning these two because something in their images really speaks to me, and imho the editing/manipulation that Roufanis does is way more legitimate than what most commercially successful landscape photographers do with their photos.

It’s art and I like it. However, I personally prefer Roufanis’ work.

Me too. Amazing art, both in conception and technicality.

I enjoyed the pools more, on my screen. I think that the alone-again cityscapes would be incredible as large prints.

Alone Together is pretty cool, and makes me rethink on how to edit for screens.

I like Dream Pools, liminal vibe is always welcome
