Can Photometric Calibration be performed in a Siril script? Or is it GUI only?
I would like to be able to stack, load, calibrate, and remove green noise all in one script–is that possible? I’m getting tired of doing a lot of mouse hover/clicking.
Thanks
No, this is GUI only. User interactions are needed and cannot be easily scripted.
Hmm, I can understand that the standard color calibration would hard to do since that requires the user to pick the background and foreground calibration areas, but the photometric calibration, as I have been using it, only requires that the metadata be pulled from the image. Couldn’t something be done along those lines? Are there any script-based elements used in the photo calibration, or is that all based on custom GUI-based code?
Thanks
I would ask for this option too, but then I found this tutorial:
It was an eye opener - normalizing the sequence against an image which has undergone PCC is freaking awesome! Warning - it’s not working when exporting the sequence right now (but the fix is present in the nightly version, which did the trick for me). Here is an example - I did NOT do the PCC for each frame, that would be totally insane:
