Is there a way PCC can do blind solving? I have a ASI2600MC which uses fits files so the RA/Dec coordinates are in the header file. But what if for some reason the header is missing like with a dslr. Can’t it just do blind solving to find the coordinates?
You always can find coordinates of the center approximately. With stellarium for example.
PCC is not intended to make blind platesolving which is for dedicated tool.
However in the next release, local astrometry.net could be used if needed.
