Planet North Queensferry.

Unfortunately, I can’t get my head around HDR workflow with Hugin 2017.0.0, so I ended up using tonemapped bracketed images for this “Tiny Planet” panorama.

Looks not to bad though.

Very good one. Love the bridge. My only question is what it would look like in other orientations. The lighthouse cannot be made to stand out too much (so putting it 12:00 is completely out), but the picture looks a bit more balanced to me if the LH is in the 10:00-11:00 sector. Possibly a matter of taste.

This done using a normal lens or 360° ?

@bazza I used a 10mm lens (1.5mm crop factor on my dslr makes it an effective view of 15mm). I first stitched a 360x180 degree equirectangular projection (i.e. flat) panorama, then converted the projection to make it a little planet.

@Ofnuts, thanks for the feedback. I could try different orientations, but then I’d have to do all the post processing on the final image again, such as cloning out the tripod etc.

I’m sorry my english is very bad. The image is a mosaic?

Yes, many images were put together using Hugin.
