I hope it’s ok to post this in Play Raw… tell me if I should change the category
I took my old Pentax WG-5 with on a trip to Canberra recently. It’s a nice little camera, and very sturdy, being one of those ‘rugged’ compacts. It’s not the newest, and doesn’t have a Raw option, which is a big con for me now. Still, I had the in-camera image adjustments set to minimum contrast, saturation and sharpness, to do the best I could!
Wondering what you all can make of this image. It was raining, and not really very inspiring. But this is an interesting new part of the Kingston suburb.
I used DT 4.1 and the latest GIMP version (forgotten which!) to clone out some railings that I thought were distracting. I also desaturated one bit in GIMP as it was convenient, but would have done it dt if I’d thought of it. RIMG0336.JPG.xmp (9.2 KB)
Thanks all! Fantastic versions all round. @dqpcoxeas , I’m wondering how you got that texture - very graphic. I’ll load the xmp later to have a look. @ejm I agree wholeheartedly about the lack of data in those jpgs… but as you say it’s a challenge @Jean-Marc_Digne I’m glad you did a colour version, which looks much better then I thought it could, tbh. Can I ask where the LUT comes from? @sls141 TWO very nice versions! I like the panoramic format too.
