[Play Raw] Antrona lake

I find this raw a challenge to develop because it’s slightly overexposed and the sun was hiding behind a mountain so it’s overall dark.
Have fun

Great image @age. Here is my attempt with darktable. I cropped out the bright sunlit patch on the lake.

As is the case for me, darktable did not save xmp file separately for the jpg version. Wonder if anyone else has this issue too.

Thanks for the picture. Here’s a different approach. It was not easy for me to deal with the highlights.

Hello everybody,

here is my take, indeed care the highlights, get some shadows and some contrast and finally emphasize that little water fall…

GIMP. My attempt was mainly about introducing more life into the water - I think water always deserves special treatment.

I struggled a little with the odd color cast in the sky, but otherwise I didn’t find many difficulties

A moderate version I think. Nothing special except a kind of drawn/parametric vignette mask to bring down the bright trees and a square crop to get rid of the bleached area and some of the mountain on the left.
