[Play Raw] Failed DOF test

(Gustavo Adolfo) #1

Testing new camera capabilities as well as mine as a photographer
The goal here was to get everything in focus.
Well, I missed it.
Shot at the Presidential House in Rio (Catete Palace), now a museum.

@gadolf, there are many free apps on android platform that will calculate the aperture and focus point so that everything from point a to b is in focus. These apps have menus which allows you to select your camera model, lens and the points a and b.
I have installed HyperFocal Pro on my phone.

Thanks, @shreedhar, very useful!
it clearly shows what happened, based on a rough estimated distance to subject:

@AxelG very interesting crop and use of lowpass for blurring.
