Photoflow (a minima) + Gimp +Gmic Equalize local histograms

@gadolf, I took a hint from your title and made this picture into a human interest story. The photo is titled as Unaffordable Progress ! Having decided the theme, the processing became well-defined to me. A bit of grunge and focus should be on the despondency of man in times of aplenty. Note that the man is shown to be walking from a light area into a much darker future!

Here’s mine.

Rawtherapee for dead pixel removal (Impulse Noise)
Darktable for tone mapping and lens geometric distortion correction (I went with Canon Powershot G12 lens profile and, although not my camera model, it seems to have done the job)
Gimp/G’mic for contrast increase (grain merge of unsaturated copy) + sharpening (duplication of first two high frequency wavelet layers)
