What is recommended audio file player for darktable in windows? And how should that be configured in the settings? User manual had quite a little information about this and I could not found anything googling this.
I use audio notes every now and then to record e.g lens tilt and shift values and it would be great if I could replay those also on my main photo editing computers darktable.
Did some testing later today and setting up vlc.exe as a player works. Had to put whole path in “settings → security → executable for playing audio files” for it to work though. Here is reference for others looking how to set it up.
C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe
This opens now vlc player for me and plays voice memo automatically. Still need to close vlc manually. Didn’t find way to send kill signal for it after playing voice file.
