[PlayRaw] View on the Mosel

This is a view on the german Mosel river near the city Bremm.

Unfortunately I have some problems with color casts and I’m not able to fix it. The sky seems to have some kind of magenta tint while the lower part has got a bit too much in yellow/green. The upper image is the best I could do but the image looks too pale for me.

I even had a grey card with me but still I suck at finer color corrections. Maybe someone can do it better than me?

Many years ago I made a bike tour from Trier to Koblenz along the Mosel. It is a picturesque region.

Nice image @pphoto. When I saw @RachoVolker’s comment mentioning Trier and Koblenz, I had to take a crack at this; I passed through that area on a trip many years ago as well. It’s a beautiful area. I did relatively little, with dt 2.6.2.

Hallo pphoto,
there are countless variants, all have their value. My version is also only one, made with RT with quite little effort.

Probably the mood is different every day - accordingly we also have different favorites.
However, to develop the landscape in a colour-neutral way does not seem to make sense to me: The haze creates its own mood - without it, the picture would be without the necessary atmosphere. Landscape is not an object photography, not a product photography. In the end you have to decide for a mood. Maybe tomorrow for another one.
