I used to use RPD on Linux, and liked it. When I switched to Windows (for various, unrelated reasons), I had to find an alternative. Now I use DigiKam for copying images from SD cards and network shares. In my use, RPD and DigiKam are completely equivalent.

That’s pretty cool. It’s nice to be able to choose so you’re not forced into one application or platform, of course.
