Sometimes to compare two images I have two instances of SIRIL running and have an image open in each and quickly switch between one and the other by just moving my mouse over the SIRIL icon on the bottom of my MS Windows window (the task bar). This causes the SIRIL to pop up and as I move the mouse to the other instance it pops up so I can quickly switch from viewing one to the other, back and forth. Simple but handy.
I happened to see that if I had opened a menu (ex: Preferences menu) on one of the instances of SIRIL then that last display of the menu will appear (even though it had been closed). If I actually select that SIRIL instance, it will be gone, but only appears as a “ghost menu” during the view created when I move the mouse over the SIRIL icon on the task bar.
Not a big deal obviously, just an interesting and unexpected behavior that a menu I had closed many minutes ago is still there, open (including any submenus) with the task bar view.
