I have copied a ICC File for the CP1500 Selphy into .config/darktable/color/out on MacOS
When I load the ICC profile as the softproof profile and enable it, I can see its effect on the monitor.
When I load the ICC profile in the Print module of darktable - either in the ‘printer’ or in the ‘printer settings’ section - the ICC profile is not applied to the print.
Do I need to setup something else?
I use darktable nightly 5.7.0+642~g080201ade6
in the print module put the profile under the printer profile slot, not only softproof. softproof is just the preview. relative colorimetric, black point compensation on. on macos turn color matching off in the selphy driver so darktable is the only one doing it. if the icc is a display profile it wont do anything in print. exporting a tiff with the profile and printing from the canon app tells you if its darktable or the driver.

It seems that there is no option to disable color matching in the MacOS driver.
A solution appears to be to apply the profile to the image before printing, to compensate Selphy printer’s internal, fixed color management system.
