Problem of opening 80 MB ORF files in darktable 4.6

Since I installed darktable 4.6 I’m not able to open Highres 80 MB ORF files anymore. The software crashes after the attempt to open. I tried other software and the files open. I’m using darktable for many years already without this issue.

Also, what Olympus camera creates 80mb ORF?

Any that have a form of high res shot.
I think my m1 mark3 creates 40 or 50 megapixel or so in handheld HR and 80 megapixel in tripod HR.

I don’t use it often so I don’t open those files a lot . The first time I tried I didn’t really noticed an increase in detail, making me doubt if the file opened correctly at all.

Tested with recent master (4.7.0), and I didn’t have any problems with a hi-res shot (80MB) from OM-1.

Thanks for all the answers. I’m using DT 4.6 and tried al the suggestions in CPO memory, without solving the problem. HIRES Jpeg 50 MP works but not the 80 MP ORF. I used the DT 4.4 whihout problems, Should try 4.7.0
