Not sure if its just me, but when I create a snapshot of an edit, clear the editing history and start a new edit to compare the difference I have an extreme problem with the snapshot posterizing. I have never had this problem before. Can anyone else replicate this?
Not able to reproduce (Ubuntu 22.04, dt 4.5.0+400~gc9358a542a). Possibly your description is too sparse.
Can you share the raw and xmp and give a step by step description (at which point of the history do you take the snapshot ? Which modules are applied by default if you reset history ? Only the dt defaults or some additional modules ? …

I take a snapshot and click on the reset symbol in the history module in darkroom to get back to the unedited image. But when I activate the snapshot it is posterized. However, if instead of clearing history I create a duplicate original the snapshot is fine as it retains the edits. This seems strange behavior which I have not experienced before. I have been doing edits comparing filmic and sigmoid and hence wanted a snapshot to compare the difference.
