Problems with transparency #2

I have a problem. I am trying to make a stinger transition for streaming, meaning i need to use an alpha channel for the transparent background. However, i have a problem. When i select the little transparency box image my stinger gets the transparent effect as well: image i want to find a way to make the transparency effect on that part of the stinger go away. Any help?
I am not a beginner to Natron.

Add 1 to your constant.

Are you able to share your project file or a screenshot of your node tree?

Hello hellocatfood, here are several screenshots. Standard node graph:

Group node “object”:
Group node “border-top” and “border-bottom”

See what you can do with this information.

As I told you, the problem is that your output doesn’t have alpha channel.

In the group “Object”, turn on the alpha of your video input in the merge node settings (it’s the A input in your case).

Or next time, please always connect the background as input B, so you don’t even have to check the alpha channel.

Also do the same thing with the merge node in the master node graph.

I thought you were using the constant, so I suggested adding 1 to the alpha.

A video for better understanding.
