Profiling and tuning darktable - where to discuss?

I would like to contribute to darktable development, starting with an area I’m reasonably familiar with: profiling and performance tuning.

I have run a couple of CPU time profiles of the current development branch on Linux, using AMD’s uProf. I have some questions about the results I’m seeing. Where is the right place to have a conversation about this?

I hope to be able to do some work on the macOS port as well. I’m very familiar with Instruments on Mac. Now all I have to do is successfully build darktable on Mac…
