quickly setting mask feather width to zero - how?

I assume that if I want a hard edged drawn mask I must shift-scroll to set the feather width to zero. As others have observed elsewhere in this forum (quite a few times) this is not easy to do when the feather width is already small - an inordinate amount of scrolling is required. Is there a way to set feather width quickly and explicitly, for example by entering a width of zero, somehow, somewhere?

It will be possible in 4.2 using the new controls for mask which will be part of the mask manager module.

That’s encouraging - as indeed is every update to dt.

What so intrigues me about this software is how its functionality, especially between releases, grows, so satisfyingly, over time, as my use of it increases. How do you fellows do that ?

100% agree. It is amazing how this software evolves so much with just dedicated volunteers.
