White balanced on the clouds, and the rainbow colours remained, CB-RGB did most of the job unobstructed after that. I just tried to enhance it even more with contrast equaliser and colour equaliser.
There was a lot of blue in the corners after that so I had another masked CB-RGB to lower that.
Also had to control the yellows on that tower because of the WB.
Not sure about the ground, maybe I should have used two CCs but I tried to get the colours a bit less yellow with its CB-RGB instance.
Cant say I am happy with it, but I thought it might be fun to attempt using Color Cal ‘white balance’ differences** to maintain the rainbow and still have the rest of the scene be neutral (ish). The masks were done hastily and I over cooked saturation…but a fun experiment nonetheless.
** a warm wb kept the reds and oranges but made the blues disappear, while a cool wb did the opposite. So 3 instances of color cal. 1 masked for warm, 1 masked for cool, and 1 for the rest of the scene that excludes the other 2 masks.
Realized I linked the wrong version. This jpg/xmp uses 2 instances of color cal. The xmp with the 3 CC version DSC_0976_01.NEF.xmp (19.4 KB)
