This is primarily a bug fix release:
Don’t crash when choosing an existing subfolder generation preset from the
editor window that is currently not displayed in the main window’s drop-
down gear menu.
Don’t crash when getting tooltip for backup devices when no backup devices
exist.
Updated Brazilian Portuguese, German and Greek translations.
If all goes well, this will be the final 0.9.8 release too. Hopefully in time for Ubuntu 18.04!
Hi, sorry for asking it here, i don’t know where is should ask this.
i started using rapid photo downloader, and love it. but now after all my pictures are already downloaded renamed etc on the right place, i find the bakcup utility, which seems will only work with the new fotoś i import or download, what about the ones i have already downloaded. Is it to late to have them backed up with the rapid photo downloader backup utility?
(my home folder is already backed up with deja dup to a share on my server, but i’d like it as extra backup. photo’s are not like music and movies. if broken or lost, there is no way to get that picture back, so that’s why i was happy to see that feature in the program, just would like to know if i can still use it for the photo’s that have already been downloaded. I’d appreciate it a lot if you could help me with this.

Yes, sorry, you need to handle backing up files you have already downloaded by yourself.
