RAW data processing in Darktable

I have been using a new camera for some time now, a Lumix DC-TZ202D. Unfortunately, Darktable cannot process the RAW files of this cam. The image is displayed on the light table, but when I open the darkroom I get the message:

Could not read camera white balance data from “Filename”.

It also refers to the web address where the supported camera models are listed. The camera is listed there in a similar way to two others that I use and with which there is no problem. My dt version is 4.2.1.

My question: is there any parameter to set in dt to process these RAW images?

What else can I do?

The current version is 4.8…so you are a few versions and several nice features back in the timeline of DT…can you simply upgrade?? This might fix it…

I installed my dt from the repository of my Linux distribution. But I’m going to try and see if that’s the solution. I suspect it is.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Ya sorry I am a WIndows user so I am not sure what versions and install methods would work for you… maybe one from OBS links on the dt WEBSITE??
Edit: …
and welcome to the forum…

The versions are the same. But the Linux distributions unfortunately do not include every sub-version. What you install from the distribution repository is also supplied with updates from there. You practically don’t have to worry about anything. You have to do this manually if you install a different or newer S/W manually. I’ll give it a try, it will work…
Thanks for the tip.

You can use the official appimage, flatpak, nixpkgs, OBS repo (if supporter), or self compile of you want the latest version.
