I opened up some old Fuji X100 raw files I had in my dt library to try some new editing and, to my surprise, the colors turned out to be completely messed up, even when resetting the history. I tried to file a bug on github, but it wouldn’t let me attach the raw file, so I am attaching it here together with its companion in-camera jpeg.
Has anybody noticed the same behavior? I don’t remember anything like this with previous versions of dt. I am using dt 5.0.1 on a macbook pro (Intel) running Sequoia 15.3.1, with the binary downloaded from GitHub. It makes no difference whether I enable OpenCL GPU processing (integrated Intel Iris) or not.
Something is totally messed with the colors of this image. This needs imput from a more knowledgeable person than me. I can only confirm that something is crazy with the colors. Is this camera supported by DT? Did it previously to open correctly in DT? I am on a windows computer with DT 5.1.
Thanks for having a look. Yes, that’s exactly how it renders on my system. I am pretty sure dt converted it correctly in previous versions (but I can’t recall how many versions back). I tried opening with another raw editor and it looks fine.
Sounds about right, thanks. I am not on that machine right now, so I’ll check it this evening. But is the “cameras.xml” file a setting file that is also read by the github-provided binary, or is it a file that is read at compilation time, when building from sources?
