Rawtherapee 5.8 - most of the processed images are overblown

I recently updated my Ubuntu tp 20.04 and RawTherapee to 5.8. Since then, when I process my raw files, most of them become overblown - while it looks perfect in the Editor - WHY???

After the update there was a popup message in RawTherapee about missing default processing profiles and that i’ll use Auto Matched Curve - ISO Low.

Left side: image in the Editor
Right side: image after processing

What is the problem and how can I fix it?

Hi & welcome!

What ICC profile are you using to export photos?

What image viewer are you using? Is it color managed?

Why you don’t define your own default processing profile? If you don’t know how, look at Creating processing profiles for general use - RawPedia

It seems that you haven’t set a proper display profile:

and this may also be a source for this kind of problems. Color management is a must in RawTherapee.
