RawTherapee different image size

Hi all!
I can not explain why rawtherapee from DNG or PEF 7360x4912 make jpg or tif 7368x4924 ? Camera is Pentax k-1. In crop mode from DNG 4800x3200 make jpg or tif 4824x3212.

The cameras don’t use all of the pixels on the sensor. Most open-source raw editors will give you a bit more.

The advantage is more pixels! The disadvantage is that your 100% viewfinder (which I wouldn’t really trust to be perfectly accurate) is probably even less accurate.

I know they have more pixels than the ones used.
My experience is only with Darktable. For Linux RawTherapee and Darktable are the two good programs. With Darktable resolution of Raw = JPG. With PS also the resolution of Raw = JPG.
8 pixels higher in horizontal and 12 pixels higher vertically, I find nonsense.
I apologize for my English

“Code is cheap, hardware is expensive”.

Demosaicing pixels around the edge of the frame is computationally more expensive than demosaicing the ones not along the edge, so cameras simply crop them off. Raw converters on a computer have the luxury of unlimited time and increased processing power, so these pixels can be usefully demosaiced. Ergo higher resolution.
