Ive looked at the users manual, but cant seem to find any information regarding this.
When you are in lighttable, is there any way that you can re-arrange images? I have a number of images that were shot in sequence, and would like to view them in the order they were shot.

I’d assume the various sorting options in the top-panel should do the job.
That should be straight forward. In the screenshot image here shows sorting is by file name which should provide what you require, but there is an option for capture time which may prove more suitable for you. This is along the top panel
