Resize problems - Exporting will not apply Resize, stays at original crop size

I’ve been using RawTherapee happily for the last year. However, I’ve encountered a problem recently trying to get my pictures exported to settings that avoid Instagram compression.

To this end, I’m trying to get my landscape pictures Resized to 1080 x 565 pixels.

I created a custom crop ratio 1.91 x 1 to match the desired resize ratio but RawTherapee will not apply the resize on export, no matter what setting I tweak, the output of the export is never resized.

Here is a screenshot of my settings:

You need to have the power icon by the word “Resize” clicked on for the resize tool
to be active.

I’m brand new (just today) to RawTherapee and am loving it. But I had this same problem. It doesn’t seem particularly intuitive. Is this mentioned anywhere in the documentation? (I’ve read a few pages and obviously didn’t see it anywhere so far.)
