Retinex -- documentation / usage?

Hello,

on RawPedia I do not find any documentation on the retinex tool. Using this tool does not show any effects whatsoever on the preview image. What do I do wrong?

I am using version 4.2.1291 on Windows10 / 64bit.

Hi, yes, the documenation is missing. If I understand it right, it removes some kind of mist or veil. If I’m right it is comparable to the retinex filter in Gimp. The docu for that one can be found at 8.45. Retinex

It only works for Raw.
