I try natron 2.5 and 2.6. both have rotopaint issue. when I press ctrl then the position of mouse update. the software do not lag, only lag on mouse of clone tools. when I press hold right mouse and clone it ok. Help me to solve it. thank you.
Unable to reproduce in 2.5.0. Rotopaint works as expected.
i7 9700K, GTX 1080Ti.
Check if Natron is able to use your GPU (see: OpenGL/GPU Rendering Issues). If troubleshooting Natron doesn’t work, you might need to reinstall GPU drivers. If that doesn’t work either, I’m sorry, but I don’t know what could be going wrong.
Thank you. I’m just curious about the clone tool cursor when picking the source point. It isn’t as intuitive as Photoshop or Nuke; they give you a live preview as you hover your mouse, making it way easier to see what you’re cloning.
It’s redundant since you can zoom the image in the viewer to clearly see what you’re picking. Cloning isn’t supposed to be done with random brush strokes either. It has to be approached with proper technique such that you can confidently do it without having to zoom in or rely on overlays.
