Running Darktable on Chromebook

I recently bought a Asus Chromebook. I run Darktable under embedded Linux having installed it via flatpak. I am not that experienced as I normally photograph in JPG and edit in GIMP. I find Darktable very hard to use and it is quite unstable. I’m using v 5,4,0. One issue is I got a photo in for editing and I attempted to crop. got the photo as I wanted but could not implement the crop. most software you just hit enter and the crop happens. the software then locked upon. What could I be doing wrong.

DT is very stable on my Windows 11 install. As for cropping when you crop you need to click on the name bar ‘crop’ to collapse the module or just select the next module you want to use.

Welcome to pixls!

How much memory do you have in that chromebook?
