Oh hey! I also just noticed that even on my dt version 4.4.2 the little Santa cap is present on the logo.

I just didn’t think that the older version would have that little touch…unless it’s a feature that’s coded in that occurs annually.

Yes it is.
Also look out for the literal Easter Egg at Easter time (I think that one is still there). The space invaders Easter Egg for 1 April is no longer there.
