I have managed to get what I consider fairly accurate colours, but would like the red of the tomatoes to be more like the camera jpeg, without affecting everything else. I also can’t quite figure out how to best deal with the magenta highlight on them (which is also in the camera jpeg).
Use a blend mode…just on my phone.so I can’t try it but. one of my favourites for this sort of kick is subtract. Add a tone curve module …no curve edit just blend it in subtract and drop to about 10 percent opacity…you can also try multiply…
can try this with a no-op exposure too and try a similar thing or even reverse blend mode…in each case just play with opacity…you can mask but I rarely bother other than maybe a gradient for a sky or something
Mmmmm… tomatoes! Here’s my go. I used a second instance of color balance rgb with parametric and drawn masks to at least partially shift the pink bits towards red. I agree though that these were just due the lighting - not the infamous magenta highlights that have been discussed recently.
I also used a bit of tinkering with the channel mixer in a second instance of color calibration.
A good picture to test my new workflow which includes a profile made with a chart for colour correction.
You will find below the basic style which includes the complete workflow as well as 2 small styles which apply to the first one for filmic adjustments and adaptations (MaxRGB, No).
For this version, I used the “default” style, then the MaxRGB Filmic style and just increased the exposure to 1.75 (DT4.0)
