Showfoto of DigiKam - features differ?

Does Showfoto have more tools and features or does DigiKam have the same image editing tools & features?

Showfoto is an image viewer and editor. I does not have access to digikam internal database.

I meant that are image edit/modify (light, color, etc) tools the same?

I am pretty sure they are exactly the same. Otherwise devs would have to write and maintain two different codes
