Showing Single Image in Map Module

In the map module, is it possible to show only the image selected in light table? (Rather than all images in that location) This is when pressing m after selecting the image in light table.

Hi, I’m afraid it’s not possible.
But you should know that, according to the documentation

Normally, images in the center map view have black borders. If an image is selected in the filmstrip, then the corresponding image on the map will be highlighted with a white border.

Yes, I have noticed that. It is difficult to spot it though with many images on top. Switching to numbers from icons makes it somewhat easier, but still cumbersome. Not a big deal and thanks for your answer. Cheers, Peter

BTW, do you think this issue could be related in any way to your question?

I tried to reproduce what Bruce is describing. BTW, on a Mac it is Command key. I think this could be combined although I do not see it as the same problem. Bruce, as a long time user, complains about a change in functionality. While I agree, as a relative newcomer, it doesn’t effect my workflow. Probably, because I am still developing it in darktable :grinning:
Selecting image(s) in light table and then switching to map module, for me, is a logical workflow. I guess having it both ways could be accomplished relatively easily, but I am not a coder.

Alright, then you could ask for a “feature request”…
