With my latest integration I am seeing amp glow whilst using Sirilic or indeed Siril itself. The lights have matching Darks (300s), Flats and Darkflats.
The amp glow is not present when the same files are stacked in DSS, so I can only surmise that some dark subtraction is going on under the hood in DSS, even though i had it disabled.
I have read the “Enough with darkflats” thread and it is of no help to be honest. Manually enabling the dark subtraction in siril calibration (without bias/darkflats) results in an ampglow-free final stack, but the stack is unevenly illuminated thanks to a flat issue.
Why is there no bias subtraction option in the calibration menu? I’m not sure how you can acheive bias subtracted flats this without using Sirilic (which itself does not allow dark scaling on darks).
Thanks,
Mark
