SMC-Pad midi controller

Hi,

I’m aware of Using a MIDI device with darktable - #12 by rvietor for the SMC-Mixer but I got myself the SMC-Pad for DT Nimomo UTIMO MIDI Controller Pad, SMC-Pad MIDI, Drum Pad 16 Keys RGB Backlit Keyboard Music Electronic Low Latency Bluetooth Connection Built-in Battery Black : Amazon.fr: Musical Instruments .

the knobs seems to work fine apart that I keep having a toast for knob up/down not assigned when exposure is changing fine.

It’s the pad part that is not working properly: they send notes and I can see the unassigned toast. However, when assigning, DT seems to detect something but no key is assigned.

What am I missing?

Oh wait, I keep having the toast and the shortcut dialog doesn’t print any bindings but it works!

Talked to fast, it works for applying a preset (local contrast) but not for Compress history stack for example

Using their app (the legacy one MidiSuite V1.3.7 works with wine, or use the mobile app CubeSuite) http://www.cuvave.com/appdownload
we can change pad from Note to CC Toggle or Momentary and that work
