Thanks in return as it is a very nice picture to work on!

Just curious… will you make another version for yourself after seeing all those edits here? And if so, would you care to share that one with us too as a part of the ‘play’?

Kind regards, Jetze

Yes, this is where I am:

I corrected the perspective the way I wanted, using Paul configuration as a reference, added a vignette effect and then the color point effect from Steven, although I de-saturated the colored point a little. I think the photo gains for a highlight of person, who can get a little hidden in the pure BW photo but don’t want too much color creeping in.

And because I’m crazy enough to even try. lol

Uuugh, tell us more about how you did this!

Any chance you’ve been inspired by 3blue1brown’s mathematical analysis of an Escher’s Print Gallery?

I know what you’ve done is not that exact concept, but it reminded me of it.

Escher definitely inspired me many decades ago. The guy who inspired me to originally learn how to create these Droste renders is Josh Sommer (had to re-look his name up since it’s been nearly 20 years now; lol).

Nice…!

Mirrored, cropped close to the subject, rule of thirds, added some red for the T-shirt, dark vignetting except on top, just a bit of sharpen and desaturated
