Hi all. When switching from adobe camera raw to rt, I encountered the issue of zooming in and out of the image. In rt, if you turn the mouse wheel on the image, then the image increases and decreases in steps, and not as in acr - smoothly.
Is this the philosophy of working with the program, or is this moment being configured?
It’s a banal thing, but you need to find out how to solve it, since I’m new to this program and I have to solve a lot of little things.
Please suggest a solution.
Maybe it is time to start reading the documentation at RawPedia
And zooming in or out while in the catalog/file browser does not exist. It just increases/decreases the size of all files.
Hello, this is how it works, the zoom goes in steps. I use RT for a long time and have never missed smooth zooming. I even can’t think of a practical advantage of smooth zooming.
Well, what can I say then… No, then no.
I never used the zoomwheel on mouse or wacom when Adobe introduced this nuisance. It is even worse when you edit images together because the copilot will get dizzy after a few minutes. It was hard step zooming and nothing else.
Probably, it’s a matter of my habit.
I’m already clutching my head when I see how my photos are developed in acr and how in rt. In rawtherapee, I don’t even have to do anything with most of the photos. They are cool. True, I reset the brightness curve that they offer me there. I change it myself later, if necessary. Before that, in acr, I fought with each photo. By the way, even if in acr I used a linear profile created by me for my camera in adobe dng editor.
It’s a matter of habit. Maybe in a month or two I’ll remember with horror about acr’ zoom)
