Hi all, does anyone know of an image viewer like geeqie that also allows right click entry to Darktable? I was using geeqie previously when I had DT as a flatpak installed, but has taken an aversion to the appimage version.
I used geeqie primarily as an image viewer to cull images before importing into DT, however having the ability to add an image to DT by right-clicking the image in geeqie was a huge benefit.

I don’t understand: are you saying geeqie is not compatible with the darktable AppImage?
Doesn’t appear to be. It recognises the updated .desktop file is there but refuses to un-hide it. I can acces DT by clicking on that .desktop icon and it launches fine.
EDIT: Sorted. Gem Ai to the rescue!!

Chez moi cette fonction va très bien avec Gwenwiew ou DigiKam ou encore Xnview.
Shameless plug but my image viewer supports configuring arbitrary commands to be run on an open image, so you could configure it like ‘flatpak run org.darktable.Darktable {}’. It also supports rating images with XMP so a lot of culling can be done that way.
