we need some help with this issue.
If anyone has experience using NFS with rt, please chime in.

I have the same problem but for darktable and RPD. However if you start looking at your processes you’ll see that it’s not RT, RPD or DT but the nfs protocol itself that is using loads of system resources and seems to be stuck. So I switched from nfs to sshfs, a lot more reliable and a lot less overhead.
Have you tried editing the /etc/exports file, and changing all the “insecure_locks” entries to simply read “insecure”. Or just add “insecure” if it is not present.
I can’t try because I don’t have a nfs. But I hope that the op of the issue in github will read this thread, so he can try.
I’d think this is an NFS issue and not an RT issue, but who knows!
